An extraordinary new Full High Definition LCD LED TV that’s able to be installed outside will soon be an option for Big Brown Box customers.

While normal TVs are extremely vulnerable to the great outdoors, the weather-proof “Elements” TVs from Liquifi will let you indulge any fantasy you’ve ever had, say, about watching the footy on a Sunday arvo while lounging in the pool.

Just so we’re clear, these puppies are the real deal. Liquifi have taken pains to ensure their TVs can handle anything your backyard can throw at them.

Fact: you can’t install any old TV outside.

Some people make the mistake of underestimating this. Stick a normal TV into an external application and it will immediately fall victim to high-temperatures, insects, dust, moisture and other outside nasties, like say, small children.

Liquifi have designed their TVs from scratch to be outdoor-proof.

For a start, they employ commercial grade LED panels – not only are they brighter, they are also more durable. These panels are contained in a resilient body that’s water-proof, dust-proof and bug-proof. Furthermore, Quad cooling fans have been incorporated to ensure the TVs run with an ambient temperature up to 50^oC – that’s perfect for the Australian climate.

… Oh and on top of all that an additional shock-proof glass casing provides extra protection … If a game of soccer is being played in the backyard, an Elements TV is tough enough to handle the impact of a soccer ball from a misdirected kick.

As part of the package, Liquifi have also ensured the remote control is waterpoof – even if accidentally dropped in the pool – and an anti-theft mounting bracket will also be included to secure your TV against theft.
